Redbank Energy is continuing to seek an understanding of the impact of the receivership on the Redbank Project business, and in this regard, the Redbank Energy Directors have sought to engage with both the receivers and the secured lenders.

Redbank Project

AEJRedbank Power Station (Redbank) is a 151MW coal fired base load power station located near Singleton in the Hunter Valley, New South Wales. The Power Station utilises FICIRC boilers fuelled by beneficiated dewatered tailings (BDT) from the neighbouring Warkworth coal mine, with low-grade coal as a backup fuel.

On 5 October 2013, Redbank Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary Redbank Project Pty Ltd (Redbank Project) was notified by its secured lenders of the appointment of receivers to Redbank Project, Redbank Construction Pty Ltd and the shares in Redbank Project held by Redbank Project Holdco Pty Ltd.
