Share

Purchasing shares in a company buys you part ownership of that company. You're given the right to vote on who manages the company and receive a portion of company profits through the distribution of dividends.

Example: If a share price quote is $25, then that means one share is valued at $25.

Note: Shares are also referred to as stocks, equities and securities.

CFD

Is an abbreviation for "Contract for Difference". A CFD is a 'derivative' that is derived from the underlying value of the share price. A CFD’s allow you to go long (buy the CFD) or go short (sell the CFD).

CFD's give you leverage.

Example: Buying a CFD in XYZ provides you with an opportunity to purchase the shares at a variable rates such as 10 to 1 ratio instead of the full upfront share value cost i.e. paying $1,000 instead of $10,000.

Because CFDs are traded on margin, you must maintain the minimum margin level at all times.

Note: CFD’s are not recommended for novice traders.

General Overview

About Bulletin Resources

Bulletin Resources Limited (Bulletin Resources or the Company) is a listed public Australian company incorporated in June 2010 with the objective of identifying and acquiring high grade gold projects offering short to medium term production opportunities, as well as upside potential for further discoveries and resource expansion.

Bulletin Resources holds an interest in over 400km² of prospective tenements located near Halls Creek in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia. The Tenements are estimated to host an Inferred and Indicated Mineral Resource of 1,835,000 tonnes at 5.2g/t Au for 294,000 ounces of gold. The Company also owns the only gold processing facility in the Halls Creek region in the Kimberley. It is currently a 120,000 tonne per annum (tpa) processing facility under care and maintenance, with a power plant, an operating borefield and associated mine infrastructure.

The Company's strategy is to advance the Lamboo Gold Project into production and for growth through expansion of resource inventory and acquisitions of prospective high grade gold projects.

Bulletin Resources holds a 100% interest in the Lamboo (formerly Nicolson's) Gold Project and in April 2012 the Company released the Lamboo Gold Project feasibility study which was based on a low-risk open pit start up strategy transitioning to underground. The study recommended an upgrade of the existing processing facility to 200,000 tonnes per annum to support a five year mine life targeting a nominal production rate of 30,000 ounces of gold per annum. The Project has now progressed into the Final Authorisation stage.

Business

Bulletin Resources holds a 100% interest in the Lamboo (formerly Nicolson's) Gold Project.

It is an advanced gold development opportunity with an established Ore Reserve and Mineral Resource base with considerable exploration upside. The principal objective of the Company is to advance the Lamboo Project to the stage of decision to mine. In September 2012 the Company completed an update the Lamboo Gold Project feasibility study which was based on a low-risk open pit start up strategy transitioning to underground. The study recommended an upgrade of the existing processing facility to 200,000 tonnes per annum to support a five year mine life targeting a nominal production rate of 30,000 ounces of gold per annum. The Project has now progressed into the Final Authorisation stage.

History of the Halls Creek Goldfields

The Halls Creek goldfield has a rich history, yet remarkably it remains under explored. Gold was first discovered by 1882 by prospectors following surveying concluded gold potential from Alexander Forrest in 1879. Panning the local creeks was common until the gold rush in Kalgoorlie and Coolgardie took the focus away from the area.

Various mines were established in the early 1900's, yet remoteness, primitive exploration method and lack of amenities influenced the lack of opportunity. Later in the century, the industry trended towards larger, open pit mining operations, so it wasn't until Nicholson's Find was discovered in 1985 by a local farmer and with increasing exploration expenditure that interest returned to the area.

The open pit at Nicholson's Find was mined by Precious Metals Australia as a satellite mine for their Palm Springs operation in the 1990's but the operation stopped due to the weak gold price. Later, Rewah Mining built a production mill and did some trial mining in additional open pits at Wagtail and Rowdies but was put into care and maintenance due to lack of mineral resources and economic ore reserves in 2003.

Bulletin Resources took 100% ownership in 2010 of the initial 6 mining leases and now has a dominant landholding that has grown to 500km2 of vastly under-explored land. The rising gold price, growth of resource and increased access to prospective areas for gold has strengthened the feasibility of mining production in the present day.

The Lamboo Project is located approximately 35km southwest of Halls Creek in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia.

Gold was first discovered at the Nicolson's Find by local prospectors in the late 1980s. Following a period of exploration, the Nicolson's Find discovery was sold to the owners of the Palm Springs gold operation in 1995, located some 50km to the east at Mt Bradley.

In 1996, ore treated from an initial open pit operation at Nicolson's Find produced 23,000 ounces of gold from 92,800 tonnes of ore at an average grade of 7.71g/t. Due to a fall in the gold price combined with a high stripping ratio to justify an open pit cutback, and lower grades at the Palm Springs operation, the Nicolson's Project was placed in care and maintenance in 1997.

Bulletin Resources signed an asset sale agreement with the Liquidator of the registered owner of the Nicolson's Project tenements in July 2010 and in September 2010 proceeded to 100% ownership of the project. Bulletin Resources contemporaneously entered into a deed of termination and release with the owners of the royalty on the Nicolson's Project.

Gold mineralisation within the Lamboo Project is associated with northeasterly trending faults of the Halls Creek Orogen. The principal ore hosting structure is the Nicolson's Find shear zone, which is a 400m wide north-northeast trending zone hosted in metamorphosed sedimentary rocks, felsic volcaniclastics and mafic volcanics close to the contact of a granite intrusive. To the south of the Nicolson's Find, the Nicolson's shear zone forms the contact between this sequence and mafic and ultramafic rocks of the Lamboo Complex, which reportedly hosts base metal and platinum group element mineralisation. The Springvale Fault to the northwest is a weakly mineralised 60m wide mylonite zone with many kilometres of strike slip displacement.

The ore bearing structures at the main Mineral Resource areas of Nicolson's Find, Nicolson's South, Rowdies, Wagtail North and Wagtail South are all associated with narrow, quartz-rich veins which have varying strike lengths. Typically the veins dip moderately to steeply to the east and strike to the north-northeast, although mineralised structures at Wagtail strike more to the north-northwest. This may be associated with the change in strike of the granite contact, which is exposed at Wagtail.

Processing Facility

The Lamboo Project processing facility was constructed in 2002, with a leach capacity of 120,000 tpa (but with a milling capacity of 200,000 tpa). The facility is a conventional CIP plant with a crushing circuit comprising a 50kW primary jaw crusher and a 90kW secondary cone crusher. The grinding circuit comprises a standard SAG ball mill. Classification by cyclones is followed by leaching and adsorption on activated carbon in separate circuits. Eight leach tanks are present, but the gravity recovery circuit has been removed. Carbon stripping and gold room facilities are also present. Power to the operation is sourced from an onsite 1.7MWA diesel power station. There is a small onsite assay laboratory which has most of the major equipment required for operation. A tailings dam has an available capacity for approximately 1 year of operation.

Rowdies

The Rowdies prospect is located 1km due south of the processing facility. A shallow pit up to 200m long was mined in 2001. Mapping indicates that at least three limonitic quartz lodes with a maximum width of one metre were exploited, and a number of steep quartz veins can still be observed in the pit floor and walls. A quartz porphyry unit located in both walls of the pit may have also influenced the localisation of mineralisation.

14 RC holes were drilled at Rowdies in 2007 and these were very successful in delineating mineralisation in one main and a number of minor north-northeast trending structures. The lodes are thicker and lower grade, however there is good potential for extending the mineralisation to the north and south and also for delineating higher grade shoots within the lower-grade material. A representative cross-section through Rowdies is presented in the Company's Prospectus.

Wagtail and Wagtail North

Wagtail is the most southerly of the resource areas within the Nicolson's Project and sits some 1.8km due south of the processing facility. Wagtail is associated with a change in the strike of the adjoining granite contact from north-northeast to northwest, and mapped quartz lodes at Wagtail mirror the strike of the contact, with the principal lode orientation being to the northwest.

A shallow pit was excavated at Wagtail in 2001 and exposed two mineralised structures. A 15 hole RC drilling programme in 2007 testing the down-dip extent of these two structures yielded a number of high-grade intersections. A representative cross-section through Wagtail is presented in the Company's Prospectus.

The Wagtail North prospect is located some 400m to the north of the Wagtail pit and is associated with a north-striking granite-metasediment contact. A shallow excavation apparently exploited lateritic gold bearing material and the surface expression of two north-northeasterly striking quartz lodes.

15 RC holes were drilled in 2007 to test the down-dip extent of the northerly portion of the western lode, adjacent to (but not on) the granite contact. The 2007 drilling was successful in identifying a number of steeply east-dipping mineralised shoots of up to 50m in strike length with good potential for extensions to both the north and, particularly, to the south.

Golden Crown Project

Project Overview
  • 100% owned - purchased from Northern Star Resources (ASX:NST)
  • Inferred Resource of 323,000t at 3.2 g/t for 34,000 oz Au
  • Drilling only to lOOm depth
  • Resource open at depth and along strike
  • 80km from Lamboo via established all weather roads

The Golden Crown Project on E80/2394 covers 17km2 in area and hosts the Golden Crown and Faugh-a-Ballagh prospects with a combined open pit Inferred Resource of 323,000 tonnes at 3.2g/t Au containing 33,600 ounces of gold.

The tenement is located within 80km of Bulletin's processing facility at Nicolson's, which can be readily accessed along established roads. It is also located to the immediate north-east of the largest known gold deposit within the Halls Creek goldfield at Palm Springs, where over 50,000oz of gold was produced from an open pit operation in the 1990s.

Golden Crown Project

Limited historical gold production has been recorded from within the tenement, with 1,100oz Au reported from Golden Crown and minor production from Faugh-a-Ballagh, Lady Margaret, Long Shot and some small unnamed workings. The gold mineralisation is related to quartz stockwork veining within a pervasive syenite sill that is known to extend some 12km within the tightly folded stratigraphy.

Bulletin intends to complete a detailed review of the project database, including a structural study to gain a better understanding of the controls to the high grade mineralisation in advance of further drilling. The purpose of this is to evaluate the partially tested host syenite sill for additional shallow open pit mineralisation and high grade extensions at depth and along strike.

Exploration at Lamboo

"An independent study by Optiro Pty Ltd estimates the total potential of all exploration targets within the Lamboo project at approximately 4 to 7 million tonnes containing 0.7 to 1.1 million ounces at an average grade of 5.2 to 5.4g/t Au"*

*The potential tonnes and grades of the exploration target expressed are conceptual in nature and should not be considered as an estimate of a Mineral Resource. There has been insufficient exploration to estimate a Mineral Resource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the estimation of a Mineral Resource.

Nicolson's North

Bulletin has completed 10 RC holes at the Nicolson's North discovery, located 200 metres north of the existing Nicolson's Find open pit, targeting extensions to the previously reported high grade RAB drill hole intersections. Hole NRC12006 intersected 12m at 13.6g/t Au from 55m including 1m at 74.3g/t Au from 61m associated with a wide zone of quartz veining. Additional RC drilling is planned at Nicolson's North to enhance their understanding of the structural controls to the mineralised lodes which are complicated by the presence of other un-mineralised quartz veins.

Hyena

Mapping and rock chip sampling at the Hyena prospect, located approximately 1.5km north and along strike of the Nicolson's Find pit and the Nicolson's North discovery has returned encouraging high grade results of 22.4g/t Au and 32.6g/t Au. Sampling is progressing along the granite contact between Nicolson's Find and Hyena targeting potential repetitions of the high grade lode deposits.

Shifty's

Shifty's is located approximately 3.5km due south of the processing facility. The main Shifty's reef was discovered in 1989 and is a 700m long, steeply dipping quartz vein hosted in granite which strikes predominantly east-west, in contrast to most of the other gold-bearing structures in the region. In addition to the main Shifty's reef there is a second, parallel quartz reef approximately 350m to the south.

12 RC holes drilled to target the main Shifty's reef returned several intersections above a 1 g/t gold cut-off grade ranging from 1m at 1.3g/t gold from 16m downhole to 2m at 8.3g/t gold from 6m downhole. Shifty's has the potential for outlining additional high grade mineralisation and warrants further exploration.

Paddock Well

Bulletin completed 17 reconnaissance RC holes over the northern portion of the Paddock Well prospect located approximately 5km to the southeast of Nicolson's. The objective of the program was to assess areas of high grade gold and silver mineralisation identified from surface rock chip sampling associated with a 1km zone of quartz veining adjacent to a granite contact in a similar structural setting to the Nicolson's line of lodes. Highlights of the program included 2m at 4.3g/t Au and 16.1g/t Ag from 11m in hole PWRC12002.

Springvale

The Springvale prospect is located on lease M80/471, some 2km to the north-northwest of the processing facility, and is associated with the Springvale Fault, a parallel structure to the Nicolson's shear zone. The local geology comprises a steep easterly-dipping chert and felsic volcanic sequence overlying footwall mafic volcanics, with localisation of quartz veins and gold mineralisation along the faulted contact between these units. Chert outcrop is also associated with gossanous material, raising the prospect for base metal mineralisation.

In 2004, 3 RC holes were drilled 500m apart along the Springvale structure, following up on promising soil auger results. The southernmost RC hole returned an intersection of 5m at 2.38% copper from 54m associated with malachite, and weak gold mineralisation (7m at 0.5g/t gold) immediately above the copper zone. The intersections from the central hole were 6m at 2.98g/t gold from 137m and 12m of 0.85% copper from 104m. The northern hole returned anomalous copper (> 0.1%) but no significant gold mineralisation.

The Springvale prospect is considered prospective for both gold and base metal mineralisation. Given that previous exploration had been somewhat ad hoc, this prospect represents a priority, large tonnage target.
