What is the Euro?
The official currency of the Eurozone, the Euro was adopted on the 16th of December 1995. The Euro is used in 19 of the 28 member states of the European Union and is the 2nd most traded currency in the world.
Uses of the Euro
The Euro is used to merge multiple countries throughout Europe so that each use the same currency within the Eurozone. This may bring economic stability to the Euro regions or zone through importing and exporting.
Risks of Euro
Because the Euro represents so many countries within such a large zone, it is not only representative of those countries’ economies, but it risks being driven by significant economic activity of a single country. This makes trading Euro futures somewhat more complex than trading forex trading.
